Dish & DUER was founded in 2013 by two entrepreneurs who wanted to solve a problem. With over 25 years of making jeans for big names like Levi Strauss and a newfound love of cycling, Gary Lenett saw an opportunity to bridge the gap between fashion and functional clothing. So, he partnered with Abid Hafeez, a long-time friend and performance fabric expert with over 25 years of experience with technical brands like Under Armour, and DUER was born.
We start with fabric
Our business is built on fabric innovation. We identify the problems people face living big, active lives, and we create the fabrics and garments that solve those problem.
The first innovation was L2X, Performance Stretch Denim. It's custom made with our exclusive blend of fibres that enhance the wearing experience while embracing the timeless essence of natural denim. 30% lighter and stronger than a traditional pair of jeans, this versatile material offers elastic stretch maneuverability, while integrated COOLMAX® technology evaporates moisture to provide temperature controlled comfort. Applying an innovative silver ion microbial protector, Silvadur™ neutralizes odor-causing bacteria to deliver long-lasting freshness.
The second was N2X, the No Sweat Pant. We combined the natural touch of cotton and the flexibility of Spandex with TENCEL®, an organically anti-bacterial fibre that's softer than silk and cooler than linen, plus polyester for increased durability. Applied to a variety of contemporary silhouettes, this versatile fabric evokes the clean aesthetic of a chino trouser while delivering the comfort of loungewear and the resilience of athletic apparel.

We create with pride
We are a vertically integrated company, which means we own the entire process from design to manufacturing. This enables us to create the highest quality and value for our customers.
Our philosophy is the opposite of fast fashion. We believe that creating long lasting garments promotes sustainability by preventing the amount of waste that enters our landfills. We design and produce our garments with extra attention to quality and longevity, so you can take home better products and buy fewer things.
Our head office is located in Vancouver, Canada and our products are made in a wholly owned factory in Lahore, Pakistan. We built a quality environment in both by hiring highly skilled salaried employees who work in modular units to produce our products instead of the traditional piecework method of the clothing industry.
Happy teams make better clothes.
